The first step in the build was to make a card stock mock-up of the single, two finger glove. Card was sewn onto a bespoke glove to test shapes and movement, as the performer was to wear the glove whilst playing piano. From the card model, the pieces and embellishments were hand drafted to be laser etched, designed by Jaclyn. These were refined on computer in Rhinoceros. The brass pieces were hammered into shape and are shown before and after polishing and patina added.
